Kids are back in school! YAY YAY!
This means that I will be back in force on my torch and creating new items. No more interruptions when I get started with my glass work! No, "MAaaah, he touched me, took [insert object name], looked at me funny!" At least not for about 7 hours out of the day anyways! Keep an eye open for new items being added in the next week. I also have a few necklaces that I have put togeter to put up as well!
Ok, I am totally stealing this joke from Sharon Peters but I absolutely love it and I hope she will forgive me!! A vampire bat came flapping in from the night covered in fresh blood and parked himself on the roof of the cave to get some sleep. Pretty soon all the other bats smelled the blood and began hassling him about where he got it. He told them to knock it off and let him get some sleep but they persisted until finally he gave in. "OK, follow me," he said and flew out of the cave with hundreds of bats behind him. Down through a valley they went, across a river and into a forest full of trees. Finally he slowed down and all the other bats excitedly milled around him. "Now, do you see that tree over there?" he asked. "Yes, yes, yes!" the bats all screamed in a frenzy. "Good," said the first bat, "Because I DIDN'T!"

**I am so pleased and proud to announce that I won a bead contest!!!**
TAM Glass beaders forum and Mountain Glass Arts sponsored a focal bead contest for the month of April. 30 gorgeous beads were entered along with my FloralBabs. I never expected much more than just getting my artwork out and seen, never did I expect to be selected for first place! What a thrill! I'll be walking on airs for the rest of the month!!
